Mini 4WD UK 2022 Grand Prix

EVENT REGISTRATION IS NOW FULL

Classes

  • Box Stock

  • Tuned (DXN 2019 Rules)

  • Open (Tamiya Japan Cup Rules)

Entry fee

£5 per car per class

Cars are limited to 2 per person per class, however, if numbers allow this may change on the day.

Race format

Heats with the top 9 cars from each class, based on points, progressing to the Semi-Finals.

During the heats you will be able to modify your setup, and swap batteries, however, when the finals begin you will no longer be able to change set up or batteries between races.

Parts

Though I encourage everyone to use genuine Tamiya parts for their builds, I understand it is currently hard/pricey to get parts in the UK, so for this event "replica" parts will be allowed providing the part is based on a Tamiya part, and your base kit & motor are genuine Tamiya.

But please if you can use genuine parts in your whole build please do, we want to demonstrate that there is demand for Mini 4WD in the UK.

Please note: this is not a Tamiya sponsored race.

Mini 4WD UK Tuning Day

Tuning days are an open track day where racers can come and test, tune and have a good time chatting to other Mini 4WD enthusiasts.

There won’t be any properly organised heats, or tournament. But feel free to challenge others to races to see how your machine compares!

We recommend testing cars that conform to the class rules, but you are welcome to tryout other setups like the popular Pro Stock class.

Recommended classes

  • Box Stock

  • Tuned (DXN 2019 Rules)

  • Open (Tamiya Japan Cup Rules)

Entry fee

£5 per person

Please note: this is not a Tamiya sponsored race.
